I do not create to please. I create to reveal.
Totality constructed fragment by fragment. Layer by layer. Pressure applied until the surface holds what cannot be said.
Not matter as metaphor. Matter as fact.
The fragment is not a detail. It is the argument.
The work does not illustrate an idea. It is the idea.
Where Tàpies used silence, IONA uses weight. Where Burri burned, IONA accumulates. Where Fautrier suggested, IONA insists. Where Schultze decomposed, IONA constructs.
The work does not represent. It is.
Sculpture is where painting becomes object and object becomes argument.
Found materials. Industrial waste. Wire, glass, pigment. Nothing chosen for beauty. Everything chosen for what it carries.
In the lineage of Chamberlain's compressed metal and Lee Ufan's dialogue between matter and gesture — but rawer.
More personal. More urgent.

I) People Bound by Their Own Absurdity
Six glass bottles, pigmented liquid, wire. Two groups of three. 2025. Unique work.
The colour lives inside and does not escape. The wire does not ask permission. Two groups, same sentence.

II) You Mirror Yourself and Go Nowhere
Metal bars, steel ring, mirror, esparto rope, acrylic paint. 2025. Unique work.
Industrial bars radiate from a centre that cannot hold. The mirror is tied with rope — not hung. The reflection is there. The movement is not.
